WHAT?
International Surfing Association Level 2 Surf Instructor course. The ISA level 2 courses focus on development of coaching abilities to take beginner surfers towards a higher level. The course also equips instructors with a better understanding of competitive surfing.
The course will comprise three key modules which are:

The course will be held in English and usually last from 08:00 to 18:00.
REQUIREMENTS TO PARTICIPATE?
Level 1 active accreditation
2 years of experience as a surf instructor
Valid ocean rescue award as well as first aid certificate
Good level of surfing (able to perform bottom-turns, top-turns, cutbacks, floaters)
Minimum 8 participants required, maximum 10
REQUIREMENTS TO OBTAIN CERTIFICATION?
40 surf coaching sessions minimum (40 surf lessons of 1h30 minimum) an offshore surf club/surf camp/school advanced coaching with the Workbook duly filled in by you and signed/stamped by the surf club/surf camp/school advanced coaching and the coach trainer. Only 25% of hours of training in a wave pool will be allowed (i.e. 10 coaching sessions).
