Recap: The 2024 ISA WJSC have come to an end

After a thrilling competition with some of the world’s best surfers in the categories U16 and U18, we look back to some of the (inter)national highlights.

The Swiss Story

From the 3rd until the 12th of May, the Eurovision Song Contest had an all time low of viewers from Switzerland, because all eyes were on the 2024 World Junior Surfing Championships. Okay I guess that it not true, because CH won the EST. But nevertheless, the #swissstorm was also rumbling in El Salvador, where the Swiss Surfing Juniors surfed amongst the very best athletes for the world title.

And they delivered quite a show!

Out of 54 countries, Switzerland terminated on rank 24 in the nations ranking. Never has Switzerland been this good at an ISA World Junior Surfing Championship before!

We congratulate Marshanda, Antoine, Sloane, Rivan, Kilian, Jake, Matias, Massimo and Célia!
